Why is the Plus range so expensive?
Honestly, it’s a great question! Plus is potentially the most expensive Men’s anti-hair loss shampoo ever made, but it's for a very good reason. What is the difference between SH1 and Plus?
SH1 is still the best (reasonably priced) anti-hair loss shampoo on the market. Plus is what you get when you put SH1 on steroids!
They share the same clinically trialed ingredient, Capixyl™, and the same plant-based 5a Reductase inhibitor, Epigallocatechin Gallate extract, but SH1 has 10 additional actives, whereas Plus has 18.
SH1 is best suited to normal to thinning hair with the aim of preventing and treating mild to advanced hair loss, and Plus is best for normal to thinning hair with the aim of preventing and treating moderate to advanced hair loss.

Containing three extremely effective plant-derived substances: oleanolic acid, which inhibits 5α1 and 5α2 reductase enzymes (extracted from olive leaves); apigenin for the vasodilation (a flavonoid that is extracted from citrus peel); and glycine-histidine-lysine peptides, which are required for pro-matrix metalloproteinase activity to be able to meet the metabolic needs of hair follicles [16].

Redensyl
In a randomized, single-blinded, vehicle-controlled study of a topical active blend in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia Redensyl 7.7% had great improvement, 73.1% had moderate improvement, and 19.2% remained stable. The median self-assessment score increased from 4 at baseline to 6 at 24 weeks (P < .001), while the DLQI improved from 4 to 3, respectively (P < .001). The median anagen-to-telogen ratio increased from 2.25 to 4.00 to 6.02 at weeks 0, 12, and 24, respectively. No significant adverse events were reported. This new topical active blend is effective in the treatment of AGA, with high degree of patients' satisfaction, improvement of quality of life, and an excellent safety profile. Thus, it may represent a useful alternative therapeutic approach for AGA.

Capixyl
Capixyl is a biomimetic peptide complex that is mixed with red clover extract. It has been demonstrated to cause an increase in hair width and density [18]. Biochanin A is the major isoflavone in red clover. Biochanin A is known to be an effective inhibitor of 5αreductase type I & II activity [36].

Baicalan
Baicalin is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine commonly used for hair loss, the precise molecular mechanism of which is unknown. In the present study, the mechanism of baicalin was investigated via the topical application of baicalin to reconstituted hair follicles on mice dorsa and evaluating the effect on canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling in the hair follicles and the activity of dermal papilla cells.

Biotinyl-GHK
Biotinyl-GHK (vitamin-carrying peptide) is formed from biotin (vitamin H). The deficiency of this vitamin leads to thin hair, alopecia, loose skin, and dermatitis [17].

Amino Acids
Amino Acids HK‐Cu increases cell adhesion and integrity of the dermal‐epidermal junction, 23 providing mechanical tension on the fibroblasts, which is known to enhance production of collagen, ECM proteins and proteoglycans. 24 The mechanism of GHK‐Cu is unclear, because at times it appears to be merely a vehicle for copper transport, whereas it can also be argued that it is a signaling molecule in its own right. 25
Despite being a promoter of wound healing and collagen synthesis, GHK‐Cu suppresses the expression of TGF‐β1, 26 which is overexpressed in balding scalps. This is probably the mechanism of hair shaft thickening and hair growth support observed from subcutaneously delivered GHK‐Cu. A similar tripeptide, AHK‐Cu, also yielded the same outcome in vitro, that includes reduced expression of TGF‐β1 and increased hair shaft elongation, increased expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and reduced negative growth factors. 27

It reduces damages caused by inflammation. It shows an increase in the anagen stage of hair growth, and a decrease in the telogen phase.
